a more meaningful bible lesson

Some people go to church every Sunday, yet they show little spiritual growth. There are no exciting changes in their lives because they don’t put into practice what they hear in the church or read in their bibles.   Would you like to be different!! Would you like to grow in your faith in God!! Here are some things you can do to keep growing in your faith: 1-   Pray that God will help you learn something new. 2-  Respect your teacher and listen carefully to his or her teaching. 3-  Be a doer of the Word and not only a listener. 4-  Take part by looking up Bible verses. 5-  Memorize Bible verses and pray them over your life. 6-  Write down words that will help you remember the main points of the lesson. 7-  Ask questions to find out how this lesson fits in with other parts of the Bible. 8-  Think about how your life is similar to that of the Bible godly characters, and if it is not, then you should work on your life to make it pleasant to God. 9-  And finally, ask God to help you practice what you have learned. Then look for the opportunities He sends—which may come in the most unexpected ways.     The Bible says: “But the one who hears my words and does not put them into practice is like a man who built a house on the ground without a foundation.” Luke 6: 49.
More Devotions
Surely God has done a lot of good things for you. He answered your prayers in an unusual way, He showed you His faithfulness at a time when you really needed Him to help you,
Last week we spoke about the 10 commandments and what they mean. You might say “I can’t remember all God’s commandments”.
In the Bible God gave us 10 commandments, this doesn’t mean that this is all we have to do and follow in the Bible, no. these commandments were given to us as rules of what God want us to do, and how He wants us to walk in His word.
