how to stay sure of my faith when others say i am wrong?

As Christians, many times we get persecuted by unbelievers and atheists and others, who say there is no God, or, your God is not the true God, or accuse us of blaspheme… but we know for sure that what we believe in is the truth and we know that the Bible is the book of Truth as John 17: 17 says, yet we sometimes might doubt and wonder is my faith true? Is Jesus really God?? Does God exist?? Is what they are saying true??? A good example for us to follow is Paul the apostle. Paul has been so sure of what he believed when people kept telling him that he was wrong. Jesus was so real to Paul that it didn’t matter to him what others believed. When you are around others who don’t believe in Jesus and you wonder if their ideas could be true, remember these few points: - Talking to Jesus is as real as talking to one of your friends on the phone. He is there even if you don’t see him and He is listening to you. - Ask the Holy Spirit to let you feel the closeness of Jesus. Jesus is near you, you only need to feel. - Read the Bible daily, this is the Book of Truth. The more you read the Bible, the stronger your faith becomes. - Spend time with other Christians. By being around those who love the Lord you will realize that there are many others who believe what you believe, and your mind will not be poisoned by the ideas of unbelievers. The Bible says: “faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of Christ.” Romans 10: 17. So read the Bible, the word of God in order to remain sure of your faith in God.
More Devotions
Everyone has doubts. If you were absolutely certain about something, you don’t need to exercise your faith. You don’t need faith to believe in what’s real and existing in your life.
Faith in God means trusting and depending on the Lord completely: believing in His power and relying on His faithfulness. The Bible puts it this way; “Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see” Hebrews 11:1
We all do wrong things sometimes. And sometimes it makes us feel ashamed and guilty. We would be perhaps afraid that someone would find out what we had done, and that we would be punished. Have ever been in such situation? And have you tried to cover up your act by perhaps trying to be extra helpful or do something good to cover up your guilt.
