what gift would you bring to jesus?

If I was to ask this question I think the answers I might get would be: clothes, food, toys, bed, stroller, blanket… maybe all the kids would refer to such material things and adults would too. Jesus was born in a very humble way and many of us would consider him poor. It's easy to look at poor people as if something were wrong with them. Yet, God sent his son into this world in a humble way. The greatest became the least, not by accident, but by choice. In a world driven by lust for power and glory, Jesus put off heaven's power and glory and clothed himself with humility. The Son of God was laid in a manger, which was probably a feeding trough for animals. The Bible says: "Because there was no room for them in the inn."   Christmas is all about God coming into this world on a mission from birth to offer himself as the perfect sacrifice for our sins. Without the cross, the birth of Jesus becomes little more than a sweet story that we celebrate with holiday festivities and the exchange of gifts.  The best Gift you can give to Jesus on Christmas is your heart. Like his humble birth, this simple act of faith in Christ alone is the difference between entering God's kingdom and being forever banished from it. Our separation from God has made us doubt the free salvation He gave us. We think we need to earn what God has provided, because we can't imagine a love so lavish and an offer so generous but God’s salvation is free and is for all who believe.   Would you like to give Jesus the greatest Christmas gift by believing in the HIM as your savior? If you do, and would like to give Him your heart as a gift on this Christmas, write to us on sat7kids@sat7.com   Merry Christmas!

Emotions are feelings caused by things that happen around us or things that happen to us. Some situations can make us feel peaceful and happy; others make us feel sad, embarrassed, angry or afraid.
Usually on a rainy day, when the sky is a gray, we say that the sun isn’t shining, only because we can’t see it. But if we could rise above the clouds, we would see that the sun is shining, and has never ever stopped shining, not even for a single moment.
Have you ever played ‘follow-the-leader’? What is everyone supposed to do? The followers must watch the leader and do everything exactly the way the leader does it—because that is what followers do.
